Q. In what language is the shopping cart system written?
A. The shopping cart system is written in PHP and MYSQL.

Q. Do I have to sign a contract?
A. There is no contract, you pay month to month and can cancel at any time. Since billing is automatic we do ask that you give us 30 days emailed notice prior to the cancellation.

Q. Do I have to share the same shopping cart with other stores?
A. You do not share the shopping cart with other stores, the shopping cart is placed on an individual hosting account solely for your website.

Q. Is hosting and emails included in my monthly fee?
A. Hosting and emails are included in the monthly fee. This includes 1gb of space and 10gb transfer. You also get an unlimited number of email accounts.

Q. How will the design of the ShopperStores™ E-Commerce Website fit into my business?
A. The top (header) design and color scheme will be designed to fit your business. The database areas remain the same.

Q. Is tech support included and what does that include?
A. You will have FREE tech support, meaning if something does not work in your shopping cart it will be fixed for free OR if you forget how to use a feature of the site or have a general question about the site we will explain it to you for free.

Q. How is the shopping cart system maintained, so that it will be error free?
A. If a customer were to find an issue with the shopping cart, we don’t only fix it for that customer but we automatically fix the problem for ALL our customers (this is how we maintain such an error free shopping cart system).

Q. How am I billed and how can I pay?
A. Monthly billing is automatic so we will require a valid credit card (to be billed monthly). We do not mail out monthly invoices. Since billing is automatic we ask that you give us 30 days emailed notice prior to the cancellation.

Q. What payment systems can I use to take payments from my customers?
A. We support payment modules such as PayPal, PayPal Payflow Pro and Authorize.net. (see the next question for the standard way your store will accept payments, without using additional modules)

Q. What if I do not want to use any of the above payment modules?
A. The standard way that your store will accept payments for online orders is simple. The customer enters the credit card number during checkout, you then take the order and bill it on your local credit card machine (as you may already have in your office).

Q. Will I own the shopping cart system or files for my ShopperStores™ site?
A. By signing up, you agree and understand that you do not own the shopping cart system or files, therefore if you cancel you cannot take the shopping cart or website files with you to another host, however you can backup the database for FREE and take that with you (the database holds customer information, order information, product information so-on…). You may also keep the logo.

Q. Are there any hidden fees, transaction fees or product limits?
A. There are no hidden fees, no transaction fees and no limit on the amount of products you can have in your store.

Q. Can I order custom made extras for my store?
A. If you want something extra, that is custom made for your store, there will be a charge based on what is needed.
